Poll on the positions of people who identify with the Republican party?
http://www.dailykos.com/statepoll/2010/1 /31/US/437

Yes, the Dailykos does have a huge bias, but the company which conducted the poll (Research 2000) is not biased. I imagine the Dailykos posted the poll because some opinions on the majority of people who identify with Republicans may be seen as a little radical.

How do you feel about the poll results? Are they accurate? Do you agree with the views of other Republicans?

39% who identify with the Republican party think Obama should be impeached
63% who identify with the Republican party think Obama is a socialist
36% who identify with the Republican party think Obama wasn’t born in the US
24% who identify with the Republican party think Obama wants the terrorists to win
21% who identify with the Republican party think ACORN stole the election
53% who identify with the Republican party think Palin is more qualified than Obama to be president
31% who identify with the Republican party think Obama is a racist who hates white people
23% who identify with the Republican party think their state should secede from the United States
55% who identify with the Republican party think people who are gay should not be allowed in the military
77% who identify with the Republican party think people who are gay should not be allowed to marry
68% who identify with the Republican party think people who are gay should not be allowed to receive the same federal benefits as everyone else (from marriage)
73% who identify with the Republican party think people who are gay should not be allowed to teach in public schools
51% who identify with the Republican party think sex education should not be taught in public schools
77% who identify with the Republican party think Genesis (Creation) should be taught in public schools
31% who identify with the Republican party think contraceptive use (condoms, the pill, etc) should be outlawed
34% who identify with the Republican party think the birth control pill is the same as abortion
76% who identify with the Republican party think abortion is murder
91% who identify with the Republican party support the death penalty

I didn’t list all the polling data, feel free to look over the actual poll.
Deleted the previous one and reposted because the entire question got bugged.

I think that it has a degree of error, that I agree with some views, and I disagree with some. But I could conduct a poll and frame the questions differently and get a completely different result too.

trippsmith485 | Feb 03, 2010

I pretty much fall in line with all of them, especially "91% who identify with the Republican party support the death penalty".

I actually used to favor gay marriage and rights but since 2008 when gays saw fit ot overwhelmingly support ‘party’ over what was best for America I have since become bitter. My personal opinion is that if they can vote for their ‘feelings’ than so can I.
-currently I’m pizzed and will vote against ANY gay marriage proposal.
SUCK IT.
Ou812 the hate returns pt6 | Feb 03, 2010

Do the results have democrat results to compare to? Like the Gay marriage one-it is interesting that states like California and Maine vote down gay marriage even though they are liberal meccas. So are you saying that the issue of Gay marriage is actually opposed by a HUGE margin in the US? Because according to your poll, Gay marriage-which loses in highly liberal states would lose big in balanced states and be trounced in conservative states because of the higher ration of conservatives in those states. Overall your statistics show Americans to be solidly against it.

1) no because joe biden would be worse
2) yes, what do you call wanting to nationalize heathcare and the govt takeover of gm
3) i dont really think about this much but he sure is putting a lot of money into hiding his actual birth certificate
4) was this poll taken when obama took a really long time to decide weather or not to send more troops to afganistan when generals were saying they needed more
5) i dont think they stole the election but i wouldnt doubt that they influenced it
6) she was governor, he was a senator for just as long as she was a governor
7) he went to reverend wrights church of hate for how many years, you can say he didnt listen for all that time
8) im against this, fix the united states, dont leave it
9) no they shouldnt
10) i dont think they should
11) that depends do you mean tax wise, for the tax breaks i think the tax should just be a flat tax no oh your married you have to pay so much less
12) that depends, do they start talking about their sexuality a lot, if so then no
13) parents should start teaching their kids, and it definatly shouldnt be taught as early as some people want(like 1-6 grade)
14) no, church is for this, and i kinda think this number is flawed
15) no to this
16) no to this
17) yes i think it is murder
18) yes i support it and i think they should go back to firing squad because its cheaper, or use the electric chair run off exercise bikes in the prison because it would be cheaper
Kush Slayer | Feb 03, 2010

how do you know research 2000 isn’t biased? because the daily kos says so? when you poll, it depends how you phrase your question and you can steer the answer based on the way you phrase the question. i don’t put a lot of stock in polls and i really don’t rely on a poll done by a company i’m not familiar with or have never heard of. are you familiar with the wilson and zogby polls done immediately after people voted? both polls asked the same questions and obama voters scored far lower than did mccain voters. what conclusions do you draw from that? the questions were multiple choice some only having 2 choices. for example, which party controls congress where you had a 50-50 chance merely by guessing.
rwb13 | Feb 03, 2010

Well, I’ll just hit line by line…

* Impeached? Gettin’ close, but not yet.
* Socialist? Yep.
* Not born in US? Evidence is pretty compelling and warrants scrutiny.
* Wants terrorists to win? He won’t use the word, so he appears willing to forgive them.
* ACORN stole election? Don’t know about "stole", but they definitely did not follow the rules.
* Palin over Obama? Ehn…wouldn’t want either as President, but I do think she would be better.
* Obama racist? Won’t say "yes", but it’s getting a lot closer to being "yes" with each day.
* Secede? No, fight to return this nation to greatness!
* Gays in military? No opinion on this one really. Doesn’t matter.
* Gay marriage? Against the terminology, but all for providing comparable legal rights.
* Gay teachers? Not openly and not in an activist manner. Other than that, sure.
* Sex education? Torn on this one. More information is out there (in schools and out) and it is not benefiting the youth of this nation.
* Public school is not for the teaching of Genesis since that is religious. It belongs in the church.
* Ban contraceptives? That’s just insane!
* Abortion is murder? No, but is not right and should be discouraged.
* Death penalty? Oh yeah, light ‘em up, baby! Expedite the process!

Some other items I found interesting…

* 68% against simplifying the union-forming process.
* 59% against amnesty for illegal immigrants already in the US. I agree with this one big time.
* 76% state marriage is an equal partnership! A fairly even split on percentages between men and women too! Good question there.
* 86% in favor of women working outside the home. Realistic, and a surprising stat if you follow what liberals say about conservatives.

It was also rather interesting that 89% of the polling group was white, 56% male, the age group of 18-29 was the least represented at 9% and the region of the nation most represented was the 42% from the South.

Not that I agree with all of the pole questions but since when is common sense and logic considered radical.

Also from my 52 years of life, having lived in 6 different States, two different countries, visited 43 of 50 states (yes not 57 states) having spoken with and or worked with people from all ideologies and races of life I do not think I am speaking out of ignorance or lack of experience, again i do not agree 100% with everything, but a majority of the questions with a high percent are nothing but good sense, logic and knowledge are not radical and wanting "diversity" for diversities sake. .

Please give thorough opinions on my story?
Carter trudged through his house along with his football buddies. All of them reeked with body odor, they were covered in dirt, and covered with bruises and blisters. Carter felt as if he had been walking through a desert for twelve hours. Football practice had been a hassle and he was ready to fall onto the couch.

His mother Marcia came in and saw the boys. Her eyes widened with annoyance when she saw that they were trailing dirt in her just-cleaned home. They then transformed into alarm when she saw how tired Carter looked.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Just your everyday football." he said, flopping onto the leather couch.
"Well, I’ll get you boys some drinks." she said, walking back into the kitchen.

Hugh sat next to him, grabbing the remote off of the coffee table.

"No sports, please." groaned Aaron, taking a seat in the chair across from them. "I’m done with sports for the day."

Carter nodded in agreement. For two and a half hours they had been running through the grass nonstop for football practice. Their football coach was on their butts yelling at them at every chance he got. By the time it was over with, Carter’s legs felt like jello. Usually football practice was fun, but considering how hot it was, it wasn’t an easy routine. He now understood how Andy felt when he was complaining about soccer practice.

Marcia walked back in with the drinks on a tray.

"Here you go." she said, handing one of the glasses to Carter.

"Thanks, Aunt Marcia." Hugh said, taking the glass from the tray.

"Oh, come on," Tommy White said, absently texting someone on his cell phone, "it wasn’t that bad."

"I think he’s high." Damien said, looking back at Carter who was laughing.

"Tommy lives for football." said Carter. "What do you expect."

Tommy took a swig from his water before speaking. "Look who’s talking. You’re the one running around the field like a madman at the last football game. You injured one of the opposing teammates."

Carter smiled. Football came easy to him whenever he was in the spirit. It was one of the many things that people admired him for. He had been playing football for as long as he could remember. His dad had played for a college football team back when he was young and wanted Carter to follow in his footsteps.

When his dad first gave him a football, Carter didn’t know what to do with it. It was a hot summer day in nineteen ninety-eight. Carter was five at the time and already knew what football was. His father had taken him and his then-puppy Able to the park to toss a football around. Gregory Atkins had a giant smile on his face when Carter grabbed the ball as it was in mid-flight. Seeing how fast and a great catcher he was, Gregory immediately signed up his son for football.

Football was the very thing that brought Carter and his dad close.

"I’m going to homecoming with Jen." Aaron said triumphantly.

"Nice." congratulated Carter. "She’s beautiful."
"Come on Carter," Tommy said, rolling his gray eyes. "It’s pure knowledge. We all know Jen’s hot. Asian girls are hot, and that’s that."

"She’s a natural beauty." Aaron said, focusing his eyes on Reggie Bush on the television screen. "And I heard you’re going with Holly, T-money."

"She asked me because she finally broke up with Peter."

"Well, it’s about time." Carter sighed. "Holly can’t make up her mind sometimes."

Holly was like a little sister to him and he wanted to see her happy. If she wasn’t happy or someone was bothering her, he would stick up for her. The first time he met Holly it was in April of seventh grade. Holly had been expelled from the previous school for punching a girl in the mouth so hard that she had loosened the braces in her mouth. Carter had found Holly sitting all by herself at lunch on the first looking dejected.

"Is everything alright?" he had asked, walking up to her. "I think of heard of you before? Holly Drake?"

Holly looked at him with an intensified glare. "Yeah, the psycho bitch who punched the braces off of Lara Moody."

Her face was red and blotchy. She had been crying. Carter smiled sympathetically and pulled up a chair next to her. He sat down and put and arm around her shoulder.

"Moody Lara?" he asked. "She’s the psycho! I know her. I have bible school with her and she’s a total nutcase."
"Really?" Holly asked, sniffling.

"Of course. You see, we were sitting in class talking about the Pharaoh killing the male babies in Egypt and she’s like ‘Good. Boys suck! They deserve to die!’."

Holly giggled. "I hate her so much. I punched her because I came to school in a pretty skirt and she said I looked like a slut."

"Don’t mind her. She’s a prude."

Holly wiped her face with her hands and smiled. "What’s your name?"

"Carter Atkins."

"I think you’ve been to my church a couple of times. Does your Aunt go to St. Vincent’s Church?"

"Yeah! I have see you there before. You’re the girl who was freaking out at a mode
You’re the girl who was freaking out at a model of Jesus on a cross."

"I was seven and didn’t understand what was going on."" she said defensively.

"I am just like that." he said, leaning over to hug her.

To this day they were best friends.

"Hey, Atkins?" Damien asked. "How come you’re not taking that new girl to homecoming? The black chick."

"Savannah Ripley? Because I already have a date."
"Okay, Atkins," Aaron began. "Usually when a hot girl likes you, you take them to the dance not your buddy you’ve known forever."

"Yeah, Jamie could just easily dance with Darien at the dance," added Tommy. "her mom wouldn’t have any idea. And then you’re free to dance with that other girl."

Carter felt like the biggest idiot on the planet. That was something as simple as screwing in a light-bulb. Jamie may have found him attractive, but she clearly wanted to go with Darien. IfDarien would just call off the date with his ex-girlfriend, he and Jamie could meet each other at the homecoming dance.
That wasn’t Carter who had called him Aunt, it was his cousin Hugh. Marcia is Carter’s mom

Monica,

First off, you have succeeded in a few moments were many have failed and that is getting me to smile in a few seconds or reading. Brava. I really like the potential of this story and the characters are totally believable (Carter in particular (and I love that name for guys)). My question is going to be simple: where is this story going to go. You have given us a character that is easy to like but what is the event or domino that this story is going to have. In a short story in particular, we need something to grab a hold of which means every line, word, and phrase needs to add to the story. If this is going to be a longer story, bring us in on Carter, why does he live with his aunt? (which you say mom in the first part and change to aunt half way through). These questions will be vital and make for an interesting read.

Hope this helps you on your way,

Good luck

Please help. How do i cope in this bad relationship? What is the problem? I am so hurt..?
He is very distant towards me, has been this way for four years. I have seen glimmers of a man who wanted to change at times. I was once a very strong woman. Now he has left me brokenhearted from all the mean, hateful things he’s said to me. He never touches me. I miss the warmth of a man’s touch. He has never really been much of a touchy person, but now I never get touched or kissed at all- an occassional peck, at the most. He flips out a lot and when he does, he says things like how he’s just here for the kissed, im a sorry-assed woman who just sits at home and complains, laughs at me, calling me cry-baby, shaking his head as I cry. He continuously lets his mother disrespect me. She has done and said so much over the years, then lied about it when confronted. Even he admits that she is wrong for the way she is. She does childish things like not speaking to me when she does come over and the two of them just carry on a nice conversation only about things that she knows i have no knowledge of (like her family, for instance). She won’t even come over now because she wants a "one-on-one relationship" with her son. He doesn’t go see her because he says she is wrong, but every time he gets upset, he comments on he doesnt even speak to his own mother and how close they used to be. He says he chose not to talk to her because of her disrespect towards his family, but I know he doesn’t really want to. She is getting to him on purpose to have her way. She wants him to come run to her. When he talked to her a yr ago about why she doesnt like me, she couldn’t come up with a real reason, but he said she said she would try to get along. When i told him it was a lie, he blew up at me and cussed me out. Now, 1 yr later, she hasn’t changed and he doesn’t feel the need to put her in her place the same way he does me in her defense. He says yelling won’t solve anything, but does it to me. He never spends any time with me. It’s all about his computer, tv, and alcohol. We never go anywhere. It hurts so bad that after 4 years, we have only been out a few times. But if it’s something he wants to do, he suddenly is up to it and out the door. He won’t go to counseling, is EXTREMELY verbally abusive, very neglectful, when i cry you should see how he goes along as if nothing happened while i ball out my eyes for hours. He’ll close a door while I’m crying, laugh, enjoy tv, walk away and leave me, or keep telling me hateful things, yelling more as i cry. It goes on for days- ignoring texts, letters, etc..I can’t see how someone can say they love you, but doesn’t seem to mind hurting you. I can’t even get sex around here, only when he wants it, which is very rare. We are both 29 yrs of age. I want to be happy. sad thing is i finally gave up my apartment a yr ago, at his request. have nowhere to go. He said several times yesterday that anybody would call me stupid for staying this long and asked me why i haven’t left yet. He screams in anger that he wants to be single. He says all these things when he’s mad, but recants each and every one of them later. It seems fake to me. When I really think about it, those things he says in anger comply with the way he treats me on a regular basis(neglect, no sex, won’t stand up to his friends of mother for me, ignores me ALL the time just to enjoy his entertainment, goes bk & forth about marriage, even though he’s already proposed it’s just not there, wnt do church or couseling, lies about contact with exes, wnt take me anywhere, etc..). Someone please help. I just don’t know what to do. I’m all alone, I have nowher to go. I have 3 kids and i know i should have a man by my side that loves and supports me just as much as i do him. Im crying all the time now. I have never been this weak. I have always been strong and able to solve my problems, but i seriously am in a very bad situation. I want revenge- to make him hurt like i am, cry, and feel this same pain. He has never cried and everytime i called myself leaving him, I never got a call, he never stopped me, no matter how long i stayed away. So hurt. Help. I’m not crazy, just hurt right now. I’ve helped everyone else, now i can’t even help myself.

It sounds like this guy just really doesn’t care about you. If you leave him, you need to stick by that. If he DOES care he’ll come back. If he doesn’t come back that should tell you something.

tarheel_9999 | Feb 08, 2010

Hunny you need to get out of this relationship asap. It is doing you no good. You even said it yourself that you used to be a strong woman.

It is not right for a man to be talking down to you, making you feel smal and insignificant. You need to get out of there. If you cant do it for you do it for your kids. They are your babies and staying with this man is keeping the children in an unhealthy environment of violence and emotional abuse. I also think that being around him, the kids will maybe start to take on traits that he displays on a daily basis. if you have boys you dont want them to grow up with the same disrespect for women that the father does and if you have girls you dont want them to grown up thinkin that this is what they have to look forward in a man.

If his mother doesn’t speak to you now and doesn’t act like she wants you to be part of her family it is likley that she never will. The best bet is to just cut your losses with her and move on, you have much more important things to worrie about than her.

You need to get out. Can you go to a family members house or find a quick fix for a new apartment. im sure you would have someone that would help you. You are right when you say that you need a man that loves you and this man that you are with now DOES NOT LOVE YOU. I can stress enough how much you need to get out. If you keep going down this path you could end up with server manic depression if not somothing else.

Stay Strong my darling, let us know how you go. xoxoxox

Run, don’t walk, away from this jerk. He is everything you and your children do not need. Go to your family or to the nearest women’s shelter and there they will help you get back on your feet. Do not waste your time thinking about revenge, that only gives him power to hurt you further. The best revenge is living well so focus on reclaiming your strength and self respect. There is a woman inside of you who will get you through this, give it over to her.
All of his brow beating has you convinced that you can’t help yourself, he has been playing a mental game with you. He is so arrogant about the job he’s done on you that he doesn’t even bother to try to stop you from leaving because he is so sure that you’re coming back. The only thing this man has to offer you and your children is heartache. He is a cold, distant, controlling person who gets off on manipulating you and will continue to mentally abuse you as long as you stay. Is that the life you want for yourself and your children?
If you don’t have family you can go to, then go to your local family and children’s services dept and ask for help. They should be able to find temporary shelter for you, help with finding a job, and help with the depression that I suspect that you are enduring. Honey, don’t think that this is the best that life has to offer to you. You made a bad choice, which is something you have in common in one way or another with a lot of people. If you decide that your life doesn’t have to be this way then you give yourself options. Options are possibilities to bring joy into your life, to raise your children in a mentally healthy and happy home, to find someone who cherishes you to share your life. Don’t lose all of that for this jerk, he is not worth it.

In hind sight .. should the USA Government have spent 5-10 million in Afhanistan , after the Russians left ?
ok so I just watched Charlie Wilson’s War …

yes it’s a movie ..but based on fact …

Would it have made a difference to the situation today … had The USA gone in and built schools.. and (re-)built infrastructure after the Russians had left ?
would the taliban hate america as much though ?

It definitely would (very good movie by the way, much enjoyed). Osama bin Laden managed to get support for his terrorist action because all he had to do was point out how the U.S. had left Afghanistan high and dry after they had done all the fighting to prevent war that would have included actual Americans. While Osama may have been pissed off for a multitude of reasons, it’s much more difficult to garner support for your cause when you can’t just point to an obvious situation and connect it to the country you’re up against.

No, the Taliban would still rule and the schools would teach what they want taught.

The movie is nothing close to how it was.

In hindsight - the U.S. government should never have gotten involved in Afghanistan in the first place.

The Soviets could then have stabilized the situation without sending any troops at all, just by aiding the soft-liberal, hardly "communist" Afghan government. I mean, they never even abolished the bride-price, just put price controls on it. _That’s_ "radical left"?

But Zbignew Brzezinski, "Jimmy Carter’s Kissinger," wanted to draw the Soviets in, to get "revenge" for the U.S. defeat in Vietnam by starting their own unwinnable war. He wrote about it as early as 1975, before Carter hired him — and when he became Carter’s National Security Advisor in 1977, he succeeded in doing it.

I’ve always wondered how Brzezinski felt, having his one major foreign policy initiative credited by popular lore to Ronald Reagan for all those years, and then credited by Hollywood to some obscure coke-snorting congressman.

These days, a man can’t even get proper credit for instigating atrocities and mass murders.

And if back in 75-77 even Brzezinski and Carter understood that a war in Afghanistan is unwinnable, how come Bush and Obama don’t today?

in a word, YES. instead we abandoned them to the tender mercies of the mujehadin which eventually morphed into the taliban. thank you, reagan/bush! i’ve been watching that area of the world since the 1979 soviet invasion (even atttended protests several times during the clinton years over the mistreatment of women there) and even a half-baked machinist like me saw this coming at us like a freight train. why didn’t you, mister reagan and mister bush? surely you had brighter folks than me on your payroll!

we can all agree with benjamin franklin on this one: "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." we played frankenstein and created a monster in osama bin laden… and *SURPRISE!* he came back to bite us in the @$$.

maybe charlie wilson was wrong…. maybe we supported the wrong side? perhaps we should have been helping the russkies, instead?

some people said before the wars of terror they were a bad idea, sort of like pouring petrol on a fire, 60 years terrorising the middle east and the solution is more terror with invations of afghanistan and iraq?

anyone who has studied history knows afghanistan is where empires goto die, eg from the greeks to the soviets

i liked Rambo in Afghanistan he really kicked some bottom, took on the whole country in a few days, wonderful acting
nipples kostalakis | Dec 23, 2009

Many major powers in the world have come a cropper in Afghanistan. Starting with India and Iran, then England and czarist Russia. More modern ones are communist Russia and now the US. It’s easy to invade Afghanistan, but to subdue it is extremely difficult as many have found. The US should have kept well out of it
Those who don’t take note of history are condemned to repeat it.

I can't let go of the past. Any advice?
When my husband was 14 he had a huge dramatic change in his life. He started dating a girl who was a VERY bad choice. She was a pot head and a delinquent who had several arrests for shoplifting and underage drinking. I don’t know what he saw in her, but apparently he was "in love" with her. She had wanted a baby since she was in 6th grade (I worked with a girl who knew her since they were little and told me that little detail) and she convinced him that they needed a baby to stay together forever. He got her pregnant and was all set for this happy family and so excited to be a daddy. She broke up with him and destroyed him for 4 years until he went to court and got rights to his daughter. He didn’t get to meet his daughter until a few weeks before her 4th birthday and it was in no way his fault (except that he was dumb enough to trust a girl like that and have a baby at 14)
I can’t ever forgive her for what she did to him. I met him when his daughter was 6 months old. Eventually we started dating and he poured his heart out to me. I held him while he cried over his daughter more times than I can count. I know exactly how broken he was better than anyone and I HATE her for what she did to him.
I also know that he is telling me the entire truth because I went through all his old notes and emails for his court case. He was so sweet and loving with her and she treated him like garbage.
That is nearly 5 years in the past, though, and it shouldn’t matter. He is seeing his daughter now and she is slowly getting used to him. However, the mother is still constantly trying to turn the daughter against him since she can’t keep him away anymore (because of the court order) It just makes me hate her more, but I have to be civil to her face because I don’t want to be the immature one who starts fights.
I really need to let go of this, but it drives me insane! How DARE she treat him like that??? Can anyone give me some help?

She is nasty. What she is doing is a form of child abuse.

Parental Alienation Syndrome.

Well, a man with that much baggage in the first place isn’t a good choice….but if he is responsible and loyal to you then I guess you have to be patient then…but please do not blame the ex only, he was also partly responsible to what happened in the past…remember that also…gd luck
Susan | Feb 04, 2010

I understand that you have this anger for her and love and sympathy for your husband. But it’s not your battle to fight. Just continue to love him and support him as much as possible. Also the only thing that conquers hate is love. Good Luck

i don’t care if you read 100000 letters you don’t know everything that happened…. think about it.. a 14 year old girl wants a baby gets preggers and then runs away from the father for no real reason on his part????!!? what woman wants 2 3 4 5 6 o’clock feedings every night and diapers and screaming all to herself? at 14? its not your business how she treated him back then anyway. grow the heck up and get over it. and why does he have all these left over emails and letters from her? and another thing, they were 14! games and drama just come with the territory….

this is so disturbing for many, many reasons. i almost wonder if there is more to this, which are not aware or have just omitted. this is his past, not yours. granted you have been with him to witness the impact and would not be a human being if you were not able to show empathy or sympathy. you may resent the fact that she is a part of your life by way of your relationship with him, but this existed before you. i do not understand how you could hate her…hate? this is unhealthy, why hate when your relationship is based on love. truth is you really do not know why she did what she did. they were children when they decided to have a baby, and children make childish decisions. also, there may have been people influencing her decisions. there needs to be a shift from what has happened to where you are today. truth is he now has access to his daughter, something he always wanted, and being a part of her life is the most important thing to him or he would not have taken up so much of his time and resources in making this happen. take your focus off of her, she is a small part of your life. your life is with your bf and his daughter (when ever he has her). many people experience the challenges of having to deal with children of previous relationships. do not use this as a reason to yet again focus on the ex, instead build a relationship with the child. eventually she will grow up, see the truth and the mother will not have the influence she does today. also, while you are spending time hating (which is cancerous), the mother is moving along her happy way. accept what has happened, forgive her (forgiveness is not about the other person it is about you and releasing you from the pain you hold on to), and focus on today’s reality. lastly, i know you are probably thinking how does this terrible person get to be a mother and the ex to someone you love, but it is what it is. it does not have to be your story, and you do not get to judge her for her actions and decide what her punishment should be. please, replace that hate for love. take care of yourself. good luck.

I admire you for supporting your husband of his past!

But I feel you have done enough! Unfortunately some women can be spiteful & vindictive as in your husbands case.
What you need to do now is completely forget the past, co’s what is done- is done & no matter how hard you try, you can’t change anything, so in saying that, you need to try your best & put it all behind you! I hear you saying; "It’s easier said than done"! But if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything you want! The secret is always staying positive & fully focused & leave all the negative shit long behind you!!

I taught my present wife how to always talk & think positive during her former marriage dispute & although she went through some horrible shit, she emerged out the other end a very positive thinking person & has never forgotten all that I taught her. And I’m sure you can do the same!

Take very good care always & like I say put the past behind you, because it’s all now history & you can’t change history, no matter how we would like to!!

Cheers & take very good care of each other & I imagine you both will have the most perfect marriage, because you fully support each other!!
Keep it up And put the past behind you!!

I have a REALLY big problem(guy crush, good friend liking him, ect)?
Lemme start from the beginning(last year August 2008)
I met a guy at school, we started talking and I developed feelings(IDK WHY!) and then sometime March 2009 one of my closest friend told me she’s crushing on that guy. So, I kept my mouth shut, never said anything about me liking him. So, around April, he’d confessed he was bi and at that time, he was dating a dude. Then, I found out he dated a girl named Anna I didn’t actually talk to till summer 2009, for about a months and broke up. He found out the guy he was dating was a rapist, yada, yada, yaadada and doesn’t goes online anymore. So, I was talking to Anna during the summer and we’d became AWESOME friends <333 But near the ending of summer….she told me she is in LOVE with my bff…..She talks about how they exchange letters about the past and the guilt of them breaking up, ect. I KNOW he likes her by the way he acts and stuff. I encourage her to ask him out like any good friend would do. So today….he told him.
this is what they said:
She said….
"I’m sorry I didn’t tell you anything. I am sorry that I couldn’t tell you, but I bet you already know this. It’s pretty obvious, what I was telling jen. I just didn’t want you to know. But if you must know then, your for a hell of a ride.

(dude’s name), you probably know this, but I like you. I always have. But Dont worry, I know your answer, and have always known it for this very day. No. I accept that and always will like I did when we broke up. I know you will never like me back no matter what. I know you can’t have a girlfriend either, because of the accident. But I can wait, I can always wait for you. even if the one you love who makes you happy is not me. I understand, I hope though you will find the one you love. I will never make you try to like me either. I am not cold hearted like that. I want to cry, but I don’t want you to pity me. This hurts me, because I didn’t want to tell you, but now you must know the truth. I will always treat you the same even if I have feelings for you still. I don’t want you to worry either, because I hate it when you do. I will always wait no matter what.

I was planning to tell you these words to you on valentines day… Face to Face, but— you heard me talking about it to jen, and I didn’t want you to know. It was a surprise but you over reacted thinking I was talking false words to you. I’m sorry that I like you, but I’ll get over it, because your my friend and always will be. There I told you what I was saying all along. I wanted to confess so many times, but I didn’t find the right words, and when I did, I never did have the courage. I gained my courage to tell you on Valentines day, but never mind. I feel like a idiot because of this. Don’t worry, I understand you will never like me, so save your breath. I do hope you find the one you love though, even if its not with me.

I’m going to go now, and cry because I never had the guts to tell you this in person… Now you know (dude’s name), now you know.."

He said…
"Don’t go so I can tell you something. Just wait..

Please don’t cry. Please, or I will. Look, I DID know. I wanted you to tell me because I wanted you to get some courage, like you always had. I was waiting because I wanted you to stand up and be brave. But it was for the worst… All I did was hurt you. I do like you, but I can’t because I’m not gonna entangle you in all my problems and I’m not gonna get you depressed! That’s all I’ve been doing, bringing you down, because I can’t be happy so that just depresses you, and sorry for being this way all the time, so confusing, I just wish you’d stop keeping secrets from me and then telling other people. I love you so much… Don’t forget that. But I don’t want you to suffer. I’m sorry I rushed things, I didn’t understand you were actually waiting to tell me.
I’m sorry.
Can you just talk to me please?
Please!"

The worst part is I loved him more than a year now….I really need help.

Dat was wayy tooo long!idk i dunno….
